Illegal miners, called « coal ninjas », leave their mining concession nearby the city of Nalaikh, east of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, after a twelve hours working day in dangerous conditions. Despite of the illegality of the huge mining site, Ulaanbaatar’s ger districts only provide themselves with the coal extracted from these mines where several deaths are reported every year.
